Weekend

Had a good one. The extra day helped. :)

Finished the baby jacket, except for blocking, weaving in ends, and sewing on buttons. I ended up not having enough yarn for a hood, but this is okay. May see about making mittens out of the leftovers; I don't have enough for a hat.[1]

Work tomorrow, and am actually pretty relaxed about it. Will be getting up crazy-soon, which means getting in early, which means being able to leave equally early.

I can't find my copy of Mystic River, which is actually fairly annoying. (Dennis Lehane. Recommended, if you get the chance.)

Saw The Importance of Being Earnest on Thursday and The Long Weekend on Friday. If you are local, worth noting that the former is at the Gladstone, and the latter is at the Ottawa Little Theatre. I'd go with The Importance of Being Earnest if you can only make it to one. (Actually, I'd probably advise going to The Importance of Being Earnest even if you can't make it to any, although I have been accused of being slightly partisan in matters related to Oscar Wilde.)

Picked up another knitting project--not a new one, thank god--and am chipping away. My beaded silk yarn has gone missing, which is going to become annoying after two more attempts to find it.

Also, played Left 4 Dead 2 for an hour and a half today, and had way more fun than I expected to. Also, I didn't die. (Something about being on Easy mode with three other intelligent players, but I didn't die!)
