Early morning.

Very quiet; I think some small generic bundle of brown feathers has just noticed that yes, it's getting light out. Beyond that, I can hear some appliance running--I think it's the fridge--and the keyboard.

Still not hating my job. Have an interview for the next one sometime this week,assuming they like my resum--my CV. (How the heck do you get the ASCII character map and type accented characters on a laptop? I've just tried every combination I could think of.)

The OPL, bless its heart, has more books from Miss Manners. They are very relaxing. Apparently there is a perfectly polite way to convey the message that no, the monkey you are training is not invited to the wedding.

(Why would you even *ask*?)

Beyond that, am wondering if lilacs in a late May wedding constitutes geek chic. Possibly not, but there are allergies to consider.
