I feel sure I know these people.

Cannot figure out where from, though.

Erk.

Good freakin' god, my Friends page has exploded--oh. Right. Hallowe'en. All the morbid stuff and pretty pictures.

On another, sadder note, neither Elgin Street Video nor Invisible Cinema has Something Wicked This Way Comes, which rather crimps my Hallowe'en plans. I will start calling the other video stores, and see what I can turn up. It probably won't be as good as the book. Bradbury's prose would be difficult to translate to film.

(As far as I know, no-one ever made a movie adaptation of The Hallowe'en Tree, which is also a shame, as I would love to see Carapace Clavicle Moundshroud in action.)

Mhm. Something with zombies, maybe? The Frighteners? The Mummy is a little too gung-ho, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow a tiny bit too dreary...

I will figure it out.

Weird request of the day:

If anyone could offer quick, convenient, ideally online suggestions for where I could get a list of the books referred to the article entitled "A changing world: Books can help children adapt", in the Early Childhood Education Journal, Vol. 13, No. 2, December 1985, pp 16-19, I would be much appreciative.

(I can pick up the article online, but it's $30, and I'm not *that* curious.)
