That was my weekend, you bastard.

Head clearer, aching stopped, throat still raw, and so wiped that the whole thought of getting the sewing machine out and threading it makes me want to lie down for a nap.

Meh. Meh I say.

At least the ice is melting.

So. Found sewing machine. Did not find pedal and power cord. It can be made to work by turning the handle on the side. Which works, but takes forever. (And is a little hard on the hand and wrist.)

Spent most of the evening to date on that, and fortunately I'd finished sewing the last of the lining on the sleeves and was already backstitching when the needle broke.

*sigh*

Tomorrow Next time I pick it up, I will sew the lapel facings to the lining, and then assemble everything. Right now, I just want to call it a night.
