Hrm. Nevermind.
Oct. 19th, 2004 11:37 amAs it occurs to me, poking through multiple layers of FOAFs, that there are other advantages (besides not ditching the support network) to simply hanging out with the people whose company I actively seek and keeping casual acquaintances casual and breaking my own damn habits.
Because I am feeling quite inspired to keep casual acquaintances at arm's length right now.
There's nothing like watching people turn personal issues into soapboxes and consider LJ a better way of dealing with grievances than a phone call. That's not problem resolution, that's a desperate attempt to annex the moral high ground and beat people over the head with public opinion.
I like the size of my Friends list, really.
Anyway.
I think I told three complete strangers to check out Trivium last night, when they asked me about my hair colour. G'bless SFX, anyway.
