Open letter.
May. 18th, 2006 11:31 amDear Mr. Martin;
I would like to thank you for twenty-three pages of the most agonizing dread that a book has ever delivered, beginning with Lord Frey's promise that "We'll have ... wine, /heh/, the red will run, and we'll put some wrongs aright" and ending, as expected, with Catelyn putting her hand on Edwyn Frey's sleeve and feeling the armour under the silk.
I mean, I knew what was coming. And it wasn't as bad as the waiting.
EDIT:
siv_volk, don't read the comments before you read the book.

Date: 2006-05-18 05:04 pm (UTC)One dead wolf, by Lannister conniving. And one dead Stark, by a man who gave Jaime Lannister's regards as he twisted the knife.
Now that that's done with, perhaps we can have less kicking in the teeth by the world for the Starks, please? It can't get much worse.
