Wondrous news.

The maintenance guy is done painting the closets. This means that the only thing I have to deal with property management on--unless the pipes break and water starts pouring down the walls again--is replacing the bathroom/hallway/kitchen lino. And I have faith that not even they can *possibly* stretch that out to more than a week.

I bought a couple of wine glasses, but I dropped them in the lobby and they both broke (fortunately without tearing the bag, so they were easy to dispose of). They were pretty for the twelve minutes I owned them. :)

I have a coffee maker. It makes good coffee. (The fact that the beans had been ground and bought at Bridgehead less than half an hour beforehand probably helped.)

The new R.S.I. is up, and I at least know what the next few strips are supposed to consist of, even if they're not done yet.

Flight of the Phoenix is playing at 3:00; not sure if I want to go for that or curl up with the cats or what. They are both cutely exhausted, having waged mighty battle against the crumpled paper ball and the catnip pouch. And for some reason, I have a craving to re-watch Westworld.

Mailed off the Marcon pre-reg today. 146 days left.
