Filthy plague-beast
Jun. 4th, 2005 10:20 pmSummer Flu has struck. My mouth and throat are sore, I'm sniffling nigh-constantly, and soon--very soon, it promises--my head will be packed with concrete caltrops and too-thick Jello. Meanwhile its insidiuous ally, Seasonal Allergies, is working to make sure my eyes itch so constantly that I cannot comfortably read.
Claritan has been beaten into ignomious retreat, and the local drugstore has changed its hours while I was away and now closes too early for me to have picked up Reactine. God help me if I ever build up resistances to both of them at once. May go out to see if I can find NeoCitran. Maybe it will induce hallucinations again. That would be okay. They're always interesting hallucinations.
No progress on anything online, including e-mail backlog.
Art show at my sister's was cool, though. Kind of art-deco fifties abstractish renditions of dinoflagellates.
