Swelter to hail.
Jul. 17th, 2011 08:03 pmI was just outside in the rain. The *warm* rain. There was a lull in the wind and John convinced me to go out barefoot. It was mostly still for a moment, and the air was comfortably warm. Our street slopes slightly, with the runoff streaming down the middle and then puddling as it goes down the drain. The current had collected bits of dirt, enough that the road under my feet was actually soft.
Now, of course, we have returned to 37 km/h wind, with gusts to 71 (28 and 34 for those of you using miles), and there is thunder. But it was lovely while it lasted.
