green_dreamsSo I spent about two hours in an meeting yesterday, and on the one hand it was pretty interesting, and on the other I'm fairly sure it's the kind of thing that I can't discuss in detail, which rather annoys.
I've been in the office for fifteen minutes and I'm being reminded again that consistent formatting, tense, capitalization, and other such minor details are apparently not a universal skillset. Thank god I actually enjoy editing, but good god, *hyphens*. Hyphens and apostrophes are your friends.[1]
In other news, my ARC of The Reach of Children came in last night. Signed. I bounced around happily over that.

I got some yuks when someone sent us an e-mail talking about "QWI/PPT", and I had no clue what they were talking about... I said that based on online searches, they were talking about either Qualified Weapons Instructors, or Quantum Well Intermixing. They explained themselves.
