By the application of Rule 34.[1] Y'see, I lost a game of poker to John, and watching the entire Metalocalypse series were my stakes.

So, about fourteen episodes in, when I turned to him and said "There's probably Dethklok slashfic out there, isn't there?" I should really not have expected any response except "There is now."

[1] Rule 34 operates on the premise that slash exists in a sort of quasi-quantum state, like a cross between Shrodinger's Cat on a bad hair day and Hastur, and states that as soon as a particular type of slash is hypothesized about, it exists. Will have existed. Something.

Addendum: Warning! Googling for "Rule 34", especially in conjunction with Calvin and Hobbes, *especially* on an image search, may cause your eyes to bleed. Not in a good way.

I suspect that on occasion, they can bleed from awesome, or from something which is cool but wrong.

I don't warn people off of those.
