Quizilla has a What Black Zodiac Sign are you? quiz up, based on the required roles/sacrifices from the 2001 (extensive) remake of the 1960 movie. It promises pictures:
The Broken Heart (to some The Broken Heart is also known as The Beloved Soul, he is the one who has lost The Whithered Lover)...
Do you see a picture? I don't see a picture.

*sigh* Yeah, yeah, I know, I got cast as the one who didn't turn into a ghost, so there's no picture of the ghost, because apparently I'm not driven or psychotic enough to get a cool sepia-toned line drawing... I feel cheated, somehow.

That movie would have been much improved if they'd left in the twenty minutes which ended up on the cutting room floor. (Sadly, there were no such twenty minutes, just a rather disjointed presentation of the storyline. Very pretty movie, though.)

Ag. Must stop killing time now.

Work done! (Well, okay, just waiting for the acrylic to dry so I can make the last corrections...)

I may actually play a computer game without guilt tonight. :)

The movie had such promise too. I felt let down as well.

*nods* Oddly enough, what was there makes me more likely to pick up the DVD (well, more likely than if it had been a bad movie in another way), because for all the flaws, it did give me the impression that they'd put some decent thought into the background, and I was curious about it.

(Random recommendation for a ghost movie which did not leave me feeling let down: Ghost Ship (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0288477/?fr=c2l0ZT1kZnxteD0yMHxzZz0xfGxtPTIwMHx0dD1vbnxwbj0wfHE9Z2hvc3Qgc2hpcHxodG1sPTF8bm09b24_;fc=1;ft=9;fm=1). Passable story, no holes I can recall, all things well laid out, and the most beautiful flashback sequence I have ever seen. I actually can't think of a prettier ghost movie off the top of my head.)
