Are you kidding me? That book scared the piss out of me when I was a kid. Utterly loved it, even more than I loved ...And the Chocolate Factory (and remember, it's pronounced "k'nid", not "nid").

.....best part was that it wasn't until much older that I got all the political jokes Dahl had thrown in there (balancing the budget, etc.)
