green_dreamsThere's an author, Veronica Schanoes. Her short story "Rats" is in the 2008 The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror (the twenty-first, if you are going to look it up at the library), and it is one of a very small handful of stories that had me wanting to write to the author, if I could only find a coherent way to say thank you.
"Rats" appeared in Interfictions as well, and some of it--most of it--is online from the publisher here.
Her "How To Bring Someone Back From The Dead" is online and complete, as is "Lily Glass".
Just sharing the word, I guess.
