Too hot, too tired, and too little mail
Jun. 15th, 2011 06:30 pmCanada Post has gone on strike locked out its employees. This is, I will note, different from the employees deciding to go on strike. Apparently there's some delivery still going on in suburban and rural areas for a few days, but I don't think our place qualifies. Not only am I not receiving mail, I can't send mail. I can't even drop it off; Canada Post sealed all the mailboxes.
I am trying to laugh about the fact that the blanket postal cancellation kicked off the day after I started getting interested in the play-by-post horror game. Have worked up to an enthusiastic snicker so far; am sure I will do better as the day cools down.
Dental appointment tomorrow. Will be returning books to the library as well. Tidied up a bit, and have things to throw out; may have a bunch of books to get rid of later.
