Four hundred people...
May. 5th, 2005 11:34 pm...so.
Someone I met online lo these many years ago posted a picture.
And I reposted this picture elsewhere.
And there were several comments.
And one of the comments was from someone whose writings I used to love reading, back around the time that I met the first person (online, not in person) lo these many years ago.
I recognize her tone of writing, but I think that might be because of the things she wrote that I remember so well. I'm not sure how much her voice has actually changed.
(She had a quick sketch (word-wise) of someone on the way home from work working on learning balloon-animal making. The image will stay in my head for a bit.)
I'm getting older. I'm a good third of my way through life. Isn't the world supposed to be getting bigger, or at least smaller in ways that don't involve so many touchstones and echoes?
