Cowbell has apparently started doing Hawaiian beach rock. For at least one song. Still rocks.

Nine audience members dancing onstage. No skynrd. Also, they had a dancer with the band. She's cute. Lots of fishnets. Not very practical shoes, though.

The human has had four rye-n-gingers within two hours. The human has a new theory. She only gets a buzz off things that taste good. Ergo, rye-and-ginger affects me less than I'd expect (although it still *works*, don't get me wrong[2]), Lakka lays me out like nobody's business, and agentofdespair's Everclear was as water. Stingy searing water, don't get me wrong, but water.

Not sure now if I dance that hard to Cowbell because I drink at their shows, or I drink and dance at their shows because, well, they're the Cowbell.[1]

I'm going to go drink more water than I've seen in the last two days now, and grab a multivite.

[1] I've known for years my taste was occasionally in my mouth.
[2] Fingertips are no longer numb. Tip of tongue no longer numb, sides of tongue still a little fuzzy (which I didn't even notice until theweaselking mentioned it as a possible symptom. Voice sounds like I'm hearing it entirely from outside my head. No slurring that I can detect, and the typos are going away....

Lakka = Cloudberry Liqueur (sp) from Scandinavia, yes? :-) Any chance you could describe the taste for me? :-) (I look at them and see the low-growing missing link between an ordinary wild raspberry and a purple-flowering raspberry, but I've heard that they don't taste like raspberries at all. Do tell. :-)

Yep, specifically from Finland. It definitely doesn't taste like raspberries, it's...

It's not tart at all. It's sweet, but kind of sweet with spices... hrm. Kind of like alcoholic marmalade with honey?

I really like it, but I've found people's reactions to it have been about forty-sixty, with the majority on the side that doesn't enjoy it.

Fishnets should never go with sensable shoes. Although fishnets and combat boots have a special place in my heart.

dolston like^H^H^H^H has memories of rum and Cokes as well. I had one once and it did not agree with me, but I've been meaning to rty again as that was about eight years ago now...

Amaretto Sours look interesting. And I now have this huge bottle of lime juice I'm going to have trouble using all up for salads: perhaps I could substitute it for the lemon...?

Rum and Coke is a difficult thing to mix well and have it taste good. I drink them mainly because I get to chose how much rum goes in.

I suppose that you could substitute lime for lemon juice. I just buy the bottle of sour mix and throw it in with some ammoretto. It's lip puckering good!
